Congratulations on being approved to deliver with Stuart! This article outlines everything you need to know before making your first delivery.

What do I Need to Deliver?

This is your must-have checklist before you start delivering:

A Valid and up-to-date insurance

Insurance must be valid and in line with Stuart's requirements. For more details, please refer to this help centre article.

A Valid and up-to-date Right to Work

Please ensure that you have a valid Right to Work document.

Be in the correct delivery area

To start delivering, you must ensure that your profile is registered to the correct city. You can see which city you’re registered to deliver in in the Stuart App. IF you need to change your city, please contact us.

Register with the Correct Transport Type

Please ensure your transport type registered on your profile is correct - delivering with the wrong vehicle is a breach of our General Conditions of Use. If you would like to change your Transport Type, please click here.

Have Adequate Equipment

Remember, to deliver with Stuart, you must carry adequate equipment, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. Learn more here.


How To Get Started On The App?

Step 1: Open the Stuart Courier App.

Step 2: Explore the Courier App.

From here, you will be able to see the zone you are currently in, as well as the multiplier value of each zone. More information about multipliers in this article.

Step 3: Get online and turn on notifications

Step 4: Accept your first delivery! 📦


How To Pick Up A Package?

Picking up a package for the first time can be scary, but don’t worry - it’s very easy!

Here’s a quick summary of what to do:

  1. After accepting a delivery, head straight to the pick-up address.

  2. The order number will be revealed when you reach the pick-up location.

  3. Introduce yourself as a Stuart courier and wait for the package(s).

  4. Place the package(s) securely in your bag and head to the customer to drop the package(s) off.


How To Check the Order Number?

The Order Number is revealed once you reach the pick-up location.

When you arrive at the pick-up address, you can tap Access information to reveal the customer’s name and the package number.

If you are at the pick-up address but can’t tap Access information, you can start a chat with Support directly from your app.


How To Deliver A Package?

Here are some top tips for great deliveries:

  • Deliver directly to the customer’s door and go upstairs when necessary,

  • Never leave the order unattended or hand it to the wrong person,

  • Always remain polite and professional with your clients and end customers.

Doing this will improve the quality of your deliveries and build trust between you and the clients!


How to Mark a Delivery As "Picked"?

In cases where the pickup signature hasn't been marked during pickup, the support section in your app allows you to start the trip manually.

To mark the delivery as picked up by yourself in the app, you can click on the pickup task and open the task page. Then, validate the pickup!


What Does A Delivery Invitation Look Like?

When you're connected, you can receive delivery invitations directly within the app or through notifications. These will display the client’s name and your expected earnings.


Can I Deliver Anytime?

Of course! Delivering with Stuart is fun and flexible - you are free to deliver as much, or as little as you’d like (though the more you deliver, the more earnings you’ll get!).

For example, you could connect and deliver for a high number of hours one week, and then not deliver at all the next week. You choose when you deliver based on your personal commitments, your financial objectives, or how you feel - it’s entirely up to you!
