Cancelling a delivery

Canceling deliveries and courier cancellations.

Updated this week

You can cancel a delivery before pickup directly through your App or Dashboard. However, the timing of your cancellation determines whether a fee will apply.

Cancelling within 2 minutes of courier assignment

If you cancel within 2 minutes of your order being assigned to a courier:

  • The courier will be notified immediately.

  • No cancellation fee will be charged.

  • You are free to place a new order right after.

This applies to both Instant orders (within 2 minutes of placement) and Scheduled orders (within 2 minutes of the job starting to search for a courier).

Cancelling after 2 minutes of courier assignment

If you cancel 2 minutes or more after the courier has been assigned:

  • A cancellation fee will apply, based on the value of the delivery type.

  • You will be charged the minimum fee, which goes to compensate the courier.

  • The courier will still be notified and paid accordingly.

When a courier cancels a delivery

Couriers are autonomous and may decide to cancel a delivery if it doesn’t fit their schedule or circumstances.

How it works:

  • Couriers may cancel a delivery at their discretion without any charges to the client.

  • A cancellation fee may apply if the courier cancels due to factors caused by the client, such as incorrect package size or details.

If your delivery is cancelled by the courier and you still want the package delivered, please create a new delivery request. If you believe you were wrongly charged a cancellation fee raise a ticket or contact the Stuart support team.
