Parental and family time provides you with a one-off lump sum if you welcome a new family member. You can take some time to spend with your new arrival and family.

Bereavement provides you with a one-off lump sum if you lose a loved one such as a parent, partner or child. This allows you to take some time off to grieve and spend time with your family.

🚧 Public Liability and Goods in Transit Insurance

In the event you accidentally cause an injury to a member of the public or damage to a property - you will be covered for any resulting compensation and legal costs. This includes:

  • Accidental damage to property

  • Accidental bodily injury

  • Legal defence costs

We will also cover the costs of an order accidentally being lost, stolen or damaged whilst being delivered by you. This includes accidental:

  • Damage

  • Loss

  • Theft

Do I have to pay an excess?

Depending on the type of incident, you may be required to pay an excess fee. This fee is the amount you pay upfront before your insurance coverage kicks in. The excess fees for different types of incidents are as follows:

  • Accidental damage to property: £150

  • Goods in Transit: £150

  • Accidental bodily injury: £0

Eligibility:

This insurance policy will be offered to all couriers who use non-motorised vehicles during their deliveries with Stuart.

However, for couriers who use motorised vehicles such as mopeds, cars, e-mopeds, or e-cars, this insurance policy will only be applicable when they are not using their vehicles. Specifically, it can be used when the courier is on foot, either delivering a package or walking to the pick-up location.

This is because in the case of couriers on motorised vehicles, their Hire & Reward insurance would be applicable and they would need to make a claim through that coverage.

What to do in an incident?

If you have been involved in a public liability or goods-in-transit incident - don’t worry! All you need to do is register or log into your ONSI account and head to the protections section to fill out a claim form. You can start a claim using either link below:
