Having problems with the courier app on your iPhone? Here’s a handy checklist and guide to help you get back online and receiving delivery invitations.
Quick Checklist - check these first!
Ensure Low Power Mode is turned off
Your app will disconnect at 15% battery left, so carrying a power bank with you is a good idea to avoid unexpected issues.
Check your network connection
Switch to a stable mobile or Wi-Fi network (and avoid weak/unstable Wi-Fi).
Log out and log back in to the courier app.
If problems persist: delete and reinstall the app from the App Store.
Fixing Notification Issues
If you’re not receiving delivery invitations or push notifications, follow these steps.
Go to Settings → Notifications → Stuart and make sure notifications are enabled.
Check that Low Power Mode is disabled, as this can delay or block push notifications.
If using Wi-Fi Assist, try disabling it, as it sometimes interferes with push notification delivery.
Consider turning off Background App Refresh - on some devices, this speeds up how quickly notifications are shown.
⚠️ Simply deleting and reinstalling the app may not be enough - notification settings from the previous install may be remembered by iOS. Always double-check notification permissions after reinstalling.
Other Recommended Steps
If the quick fixes above don’t help, you can try a broader approach (common to many iOS apps):
Make sure your app is updated to the latest version (you can check this on the App Store).
Restart your iPhone fully - this can clear temporary glitches or memory issues.
Ensure there is sufficient free storage on your phone (lack of storage can sometimes impair app performance).
