What documents do I need for the application?

There are two main things we check during your application:

  1. Your right to work in the UK 

  2. A background check carried out by our partner Sterling

1. Proof Of Identity required for Right To Work Check

UK/EEA Passport

EEA National ID card

UK Birth Certificate, along with proof of national insurance

UK Biometric Residence Permit (Indefinite Leave to Remain / Settlement / Refugee / Spouse / EU family member / PBS dependant)

UK Residence Card

UK Immigration Status Document

2. Proof Of Identity required for Background Check

UK Passport (Must be in date for DBS)

UK Birth Certificate (Issued within 12 months of birth)

EEA Passport (Must be in date for DBS)

Driving Licence

UK Biometric Residence Permit (Indefinite Leave to Remain / Settlement / Refugee / Spouse / EU family member / PBS dependant)

3. Proof of address

Bank statement (dated within the last 3 months)

Utility Bill (dated within the last 3 months) - No mobile phone bills

Credit card statement (dated within the last 3 months)

Council Tax Bill (dated within the last 12 months)

Government Letter - e.g. P45, P60, benefits letter, (dated within the last 12 months)

Mortgage statement (dated within the last 12 months)

UK Driving Licence (as long as it is not also being used as an identity document)

Extra documents required for moped and car couriers:

  • A valid driving license

  • A CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate for moped riders
